GeA-educatie brings her
group of players who depict living history to a multiple variety of events
and festivals in the Benelux and Germany. These re-enactment activities
arose as a by-product of the recordings for our 'still motion picture' about the
life of Mary, queen of Scots. During Scottish/Celtic events we give an
impression of the historical mode of travel and the royal household of this
much discussed Scottish queen who lived in the 16th century. In the
setting as well as walking around in the field we will interact with the
public. The time-periods targetted by GeA-educatie are: ancient Egypt, the Renaissance and
the Dutch Golden Age (1595-1672). In the month of December GeA-educatie brings personalities to cheer up the Saint Nicolas
and Christmas-parties. Our bishops and their companions appear at traditional
processions with a historical touch. They carry around our medieval
relic-shrine which was inspired by the de Shrine of the Three Kings in
wedding of Rembrandt .
