This new program was launched on july 15, 2006. This was the 400th birthday of Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. He was one of the greatest painters our world ever raised. In this program we work together with art-historian drs. Annette Tilly. She pinpoints in her story to the craftmanship of the master. GeA enlightens the painter's world and time. We'll sail with the VOC to the spice islands and have a good taste of the Dutch Golden Age they helped to take place. It's indeed a very versatile view of an extraordinary era. We thank all the fine musea for their willingly cooperation in our project.
